Grant Writer Platform Terms.

These terms govern access to Kaleidoscope K-12's private grant-intelligence library and participation in Kaleidoscope-assisted grant projects. A separate written project agreement will govern compensation, deliverables, deadlines, and client-specific responsibilities.

1. Access to the private library

Approved grant writers may receive personal, revocable, non-transferable access to the private grant-intelligence library solely for authorized Kaleidoscope work. Access credentials may not be shared. Kaleidoscope may suspend or end access when an engagement ends, these terms are violated, or access is no longer operationally necessary.

2. Research standard

The library is a research and monitoring tool, not a promise of eligibility, availability, accuracy, or award. Before recommending or pursuing an opportunity, the writer must review the current official funder source and verify eligibility, deadlines, allowable costs, match requirements, submission procedures, and all other controlling terms.

3. Permitted use and confidentiality

Library records, research notes, client information, budgets, drafts, contacts, and project materials are confidential business information. They may not be scraped, copied in bulk, resold, published, redistributed, used for unrelated work, or used to solicit a Kaleidoscope client or partner outside an authorized assignment.

4. Kaleidoscope-assisted projects

When Kaleidoscope provides research, strategy, editing, budgeting, client coordination, purchasing guidance, or submission support, Kaleidoscope serves as lead workflow administrator and the writer serves as the secondary project administrator, to the extent the applicant organization and funder permit. The writer will keep Kaleidoscope informed, use the agreed workflow, preserve source documentation, and not make material commitments to a client or funder without authorization.

5. Applicant and funder authority

The school, district, nonprofit, government entity, or other applicant remains the legal applicant. It retains required certifications, representations, submission authority, grant ownership, fiscal responsibility, compliance, reporting, recordkeeping, and any account or portal role that the funder reserves for the applicant. These terms do not override a funder's rules, an applicant's policies, or applicable law. Credentials must never be shared to work around role restrictions.

6. Assistance and project agreements

Writers may request research, strategy, budget, editing, procurement, or administrative assistance from Kaleidoscope. Before substantive client work begins, the parties will confirm scope, compensation, deadlines, ownership and permitted use of final work product, conflicts, communications, and any funder-specific administrative roles in a separate written project agreement.

7. Professional conduct

Writers must protect confidential and student-related information, disclose conflicts, avoid false or misleading statements, preserve the integrity of source material, and comply with the applicant's policies and all applicable funder requirements. No award or volume of assignments is guaranteed.

8. Acceptance and changes

Submitting the application with the required acceptance boxes records agreement to the version shown on the form. Kaleidoscope may update these terms prospectively and will require renewed acceptance when a material change applies to continued access or future assignments.
